Susan Christensen

I am in my 10th year of teaching middle school and have been with RJA for the past five years. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and a Master's degree in Teaching. While I initially taught Spanish, I am excited to be transitioning into the role of Educational Specialist Instruction. My goal is to ensure every student has the support and resources they need to succeed, and I strive to create a learning environment where all students feel valued and capable of reaching their full potential.

 

Teaching at New Vision Middle School has been a truly rewarding experience. The school feels like a second family, with a supportive and welcoming community of colleagues who care deeply about each other and our students. Everyone is dedicated to helping students grow, both academically and personally, which makes New Vision such a special place to work. Outside of school, I love spending time with my preschooler and enjoy playing the drums, French horn, and piano.
