Brenda Crump

Hi, I am Brenda Crump and have been teaching since 2004.  While I started as a 2nd-grade teacher, I have found my passion teaching 8th-grade U.S. History at New Vision Middle School.  Throughout my 19 years of teaching, I have spent time in all grade levels and have teaching credentials in Elementary Education and Single Subject credentials in General Science, Geosciences, and Social Studies.  

 

As I tell the kids, I am from the area of NVMS and used to shop at the KMart that previously occupied the NVMS and eHigh SB building. I have grown up in Rialto and have taught at many schools in the San Bernardino area.  After graduating from Eisenhower High School in Rialto, I went to California State University, San Bernardino, earning my degree in Liberal Arts, Teaching track with a concentration in Biology.  On the weekends, you can find me watching medical shows, reading anything I can get my hands on, and playing video games on my PS5.  

 

Being from the area, I value the education that REAL Journey Academies affords our youth.  I also enjoy seeing students grow and then becoming productive members of our community.
